The Marcos Story

Founded in Daphne, Alabama, Marcos was born from Marco's grandmother's kitchen where fresh dough, hand-crushed tomatoes, and real mozzarella were non-negotiable.

What began as a neighborhood favorite quickly grew into something much bigger. Word spread fast about marcos pizza — the golden crust, the rich sauce, the generous toppings. Families drove from neighboring towns just for a taste. By our second year, we had doubled our kitchen and our team.

2009

The First Oven

Marco fires up his grandmother's wood-burning oven in Daphne, AL. The neighborhood lines up around the block for the very first marco's pizza ever served to the public.

2011

First Restaurant Opens

Marcos opens its first official brick-and-mortar location at 2004 US-98, Daphne. Within six months, it becomes the highest-rated marcos pizza spot in the county.

2014

Regional Expansion
